Adoption Process

Don't worry we are all watched for at least 30 days. Isolated, treated for mites, fleas, parasites, ect. If we have behavior issues we will let you know. Our parents couldn't keep us for one reason or another, we want a home that will keep us for the rest of our lives. Please think of how long we live before asking about adopting us. Some of us cost lots in vet bills and other are not good for children.
After the observation period, animals are posted for adoption. From there we have possible owners fill out a application, a meet and greet, home visit then the animals will be placed in the approved owners home for a probationary period. Follow up visits will be carried out to ensure consistent healthy environments for the animals.

Surrenders
Currently we are still making a surrender form.

The process is made to be best for the animals not for the convenience of the people. If possible we can pick up animals but having you drop them off is much prefered. Before a drop off date is set up, we talk to you and go over other options. If we do not have space available we will refer you to a different rescue, if you are working in a time restraint we will do our best to accomodate you.

Any forms, and medical history you have will be reviewed/handed over.
Foster Parents
Our Foster parents will go through a screening process. This is very similar to the adoption process. A questionnaire will be answered, a meet and greet, home visit, and drop in visits after when animals are in the care of the foster parents. References will be required.
